About Nehru Bazaar

Nehru Bazaar is one of the classic shopping streets of Jaipur's old walled city, running parallel to the equally famous Bapu Bazaar. It is best known as the place to buy traditional Rajasthani footwear, and is a favourite with both locals and visitors hunting for a bargain.

What to shop for

The bazaar is celebrated above all for its mojari and jutti — the beautifully embroidered and embellished traditional leather footwear of Rajasthan — sold in a rainbow of colours and designs. Beyond shoes, its shops overflow with textiles, fabrics, dupattas, trinkets, bangles and handicrafts, along with the block-printed cloth for which Jaipur is renowned.
