About Johari Bazaar

Johari Bazaar is Jaipur's legendary jewellers' market, one of the busiest and most dazzling streets in the old walled city. Its name literally means "jewellers' market", and for centuries it has been the beating heart of Jaipur's famous gem and jewellery trade.

What to shop for

The bazaar is world-renowned for its kundan and meenakari (enamel) jewellery, a craft in which Jaipur excels, as well as pieces set with precious and semi-precious stones cut and polished in the city. Alongside the glittering jewellery showrooms you will find shops selling traditional saris and textiles, including local bandhani (tie-dye) and lehariya prints, making it a one-stop street for bridal and festive shopping.
