About Jawahar Circle Garden
Jawahar Circle is a vast circular garden on the road to Jaipur International Airport, and is counted among the largest circular parks in Asia. Ringed by a walking track and centred on a musical fountain, it is a favourite gathering place for families, walkers and photographers.
What to see and do
The garden's crowning glory stands at its entrance: the magnificent Patrika Gate, a many-arched gateway painted in dazzling colours and patterns that has become one of Jaipur's most Instagrammed spots. Inside, the park is laid out in concentric rings with a rose garden, tree-lined pathways, a long jogging and cycling track, children's play areas and a central musical fountain that comes alive in the evenings.
Visiting tips
Entry is free. Visit in the early morning for a peaceful walk, or in the evening for the illuminated Patrika Gate and the fountain show. Arrive early at the gate itself if you want photographs without crowds. Its position near the airport makes it a convenient first or last stop on a Jaipur trip.
